Aleo Group Consumer Watch was created out of one homeowner’s experience and a simple goal:
to make sure no one else feels alone, confused, or silenced when something goes wrong with a project.
This site is not a court, a government agency, or a replacement for legal advice. It is a place for consumers to share their own experiences, organize their paperwork, and help others make informed decisions.
Like many people, I hired a contractor with the hope of improving my home.
I trusted the company’s promises. I listened to what I was told about timelines, costs, and permits. I paid money and expected a professional job in return.
What I actually experienced was very different from what I expected.
There were issues with communication. Parts of the work remained incomplete or disputed. I began to have serious concerns about licensing, business registration, and whether everything was being done properly.
As the situation escalated, I found myself spending hours:
Calling agencies and departments to understand my rights
Collecting messages, invoices, photos, videos, and inspection notes
Filing complaints and trying to get clear answers
It was stressful, time consuming, and emotionally draining. Most of all, it was confusing. Every person I spoke to only saw one small piece of the story.
I realized that if I was going through this, other people might be as well.
Aleo Group Consumer Watch was created to:
Give consumers a place to describe their own experience in their own words
Make it easier to keep all evidence and documents in one organized place
Help others research a company before they sign a contract or pay a deposit
Encourage transparency and accountability in how projects are handled
This site focuses on personal stories and documentation. Each review or report is the opinion and experience of the person who submits it. Where possible, users can attach supporting material such as photos, screenshots, or official records so readers can evaluate things for themselves.
On this site you can:
Read reviews and personal experiences from other customers
Browse an evidence archive of publicly shared documents and media
Learn what questions to ask before hiring a contractor
Find suggestions on where to file formal complaints or seek legal help
Share your own experience so that others can benefit from what you learned
Our goal is not to attack or harass anyone. Our goal is to inform.
We know that every story has more than one side.
That is why we:
Focus on first hand experiences and clearly label them as such
Encourage contributors to be accurate, specific, and respectful
Allow companies or representatives to submit a response that can be displayed alongside a review
Remind visitors that this site does not make legal findings or certify who is “right” or “wrong”
If you are a representative of any company mentioned on this site, you are welcome to provide your perspective, clarifications, or documentation. The purpose of this platform is transparency, not one sided attacks.
Bad experiences can make you feel powerless.
Sharing your story and your documents can turn that feeling into something useful.
By contributing your experience, you can:
Warn others before they sign
Help build a clearer public record of how a company operates
Support consumers who are trying to understand their options
If you have had your own experience with Aleo Group or any related company, you are invited to visit the Submit Your Experience page and add your voice.
No one can change the past, but together we can help others make better decisions in the future.
I hired Aleo Group / Aleo Solutions LLC because I wanted to complete a renovation project in my condo and believed I was dealing with a legitimate, professional contractor. The person who presented himself as the contractor and primary contact was Alex Habr.
From the beginning, I acted in good faith. I paid deposits as requested, provided full access to my home, and trusted the timelines and promises I was given. What I expected was professionalism and proper licensing.
What I actually experienced was far from that.
Shortly after the work started, I began noticing serious concerns:
Work remained unfinished
Communication became inconsistent
Agreements kept changing
Explanations didn’t match what was originally promised
As issues grew, I asked more questions—and that’s when alarming inconsistencies appeared.
After researching the company through official state databases, I found:
Aleo Group is not licensed to operate in Florida
Aleo Solutions LLC is not registered as a Florida business
The credentials I was verbally told did not match Florida contractor requirements
This raised immediate concerns about code compliance, permit requirements, and the legitimacy of the work being performed.
This wasn’t a misunderstanding — it was a major breach of trust.
During the project, Leon Habr became involved and presented himself as someone connected to Aleo Group / Aleo Solutions LLC.
He spoke with me directly:
He acknowledged the issues
He said he would talk to Alex
He positioned himself as someone who could help resolve the situation
Based on his own words and behavior, he appeared to be actively involved with the business and its operations.
Later, in a BBB response, Alex Habr claimed that Leon had nothing to do with the company, which contradicted the direct communication and involvement Leon himself initiated.
Today, after I posted a factual Google Review documenting my experience, Leon Habr called me personally.
Instead of discussing the matter professionally, he:
Cursed at me
Used aggressive language
Clearly acted in retaliation for me posting a review
Attempted to intimidate me into removing my public feedback
This behavior mirrors the earlier conduct from Alex and further confirms the pattern of harassment, threats, and intimidation coming from Aleo Group / Aleo Solutions LLC.
No legitimate company responds to customer concerns by having multiple family members call and curse at the client.
On August 5th, Alex called me twice — at 5:00 AM and again at 10:16 AM.
During the second call:
He cursed at me
Insulted my mother
Threatened that I would receive a $100,000 city violation unless I removed my BBB complaint
Pressured me to remove my review
Spoke in an aggressive, intimidating manner
I attempted to call him back at 8:30 AM, but he did not answer.
This is not how licensed professionals behave.
The written response submitted by Aleo Group / Aleo Solutions LLC, represented by Alex Habr, included:
False claims about money supposedly owed
Denial of agreed-upon work
Attempts to shift blame
Denial of conversations and involvement from Leon Habr
No explanation regarding licensing or registration discrepancies
The response avoided addressing the core issues and contradicted documented communication.
No homeowner should have to deal with:
Hiring a company that is not licensed in Florida
Learning the business is not properly registered
Unfinished or abandoned work
Being threatened with a fake $100,000 violation
Profanity, insults, and harassment from multiple individuals
Retaliation for posting a review
Pressure to remove complaints
False statements in official responses
My experience is documented with screenshots, call logs, messages, photos, receipts, and state business searches.
After attempting to resolve things directly, I took the proper steps:
Filed a BBB complaint
Organized all documentation
Verified the licensing and business registration issues
Collected evidence of threats and harassment
Prepared to take legal action to protect my rights
This website exists so others can research Aleo Group / Aleo Solutions LLC, Alex Habr, and Leon Habr before hiring them.
I am sharing this because:
Consumers deserve truth and transparency
No one should face harassment from a company or family members
Licensing and registration matter for safety and legality
Contractors should not threaten clients
Reviews should not trigger retaliation
Others deserve to be warned so they can avoid the same experience
This is my firsthand experience with Aleo Group / Aleo Solutions LLC, Alex Habr, and Leon Habr — documented and supported by evidence.
If sharing my story prevents even one person from going through what I did, then it is worth it.
